[LEICESTER, Peter].
Bosworth Field; Or, The Fate of a Plantagenet.

Description:
pp. (iv), 307, (i); (iv), 344; (iv), 290, (ii). Original publisher's cloth with paper spine labels, faded, uncut, patterned end-papers, the first two leaves of v.1 coming loose, a few early lower corners in v.2 creased, the author's presentation inscription on the title of v.1 - 'The Miss Terrys with the author's regards', overall a very good set.

*Ellen Terry, the most celebrated actress of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, had three sisters - Kate, Marion, and Florence. I cannot find a documented link between Leicester and the Terry family, but the inscription is quite likely to be an association. This title is only recorded by COPAC in 5 locations - Cambridge, Oxford, Glasgow, St. Andrews and the BL.
