pp. xvi, 231, (i). 16 coloured plates [VI bis], each with a text leaf; 16 coloured plates PLUS paper-bound supplement of the accompanying text leaves with title pp.34 [these plates are identical to those contained in the text volume]. The text volume in half morocco and marbled boards, all edges gilt, the portfolio in matching quarter morocco with silk ties, the paper wrappers of the portfolio with a small mark on the front cover, in all other respects a near fine set with the signature and embossed name stamp of SIR JOHN WALTON, President of the Royal Society of Medicine, on the title-page, a DE LUXE LIMITED EDITION of 200 copies [according to the Prospectus, each copy was numbered; however, I have seen 3 copies and none, including the above, were numbered.]
