*FREEMAN BNHB #3589 - This, the second edition, is the first to have the plates of grasses; tipped in at the front of this copy are two, unidentified leaves, VERSES BY MR. STILLINGFLEET. The first contribution is an Oration by Linnaeus, 1741 : An oration concerning travelling in one's own countrey. Stillingfleet is to be credited with being the foremost commentator to promote Linnaeus's binomial nomenclature.
