pp. xvi, 198, (i) List of Plates, (i) Imprint. Folding engraved map by J. WALKER at the front, 6 engraved plates by EDWARD FINDEN, after drawings by Lyon, 1 plate of geometrical diagrams. New half calf and cloth boards, plates somewhat offset to text, one small marginal mark affecting a few leaves, one leaf with a brown mark, occasional foxing of the plates, overall a very good copy with the signature of WM. TAYLOR 1825 on title.

*With a detailed Abstract of the Days' Works, and a Botanical Appendix [pp.87-198] by Professor [WILLIAM JACKSON] HOOKER. The William Taylor who has signed the title-page could be one of the two such-named crew members of Cook's final voyage. He was still living in 1825, though I have not been able to verify the signature.
