pp. xvii, (iii), 311, (i) blank, (viii) Index, 16 Appendix, Containing Extracts from De Re Rustica. 3 folding engraved plates, plate III torn with loss of the lower corner just affecting one figure. Contemporary calf worn at spine edges and corners, the plates foxed and creased from early misfolding, last few leaves browned in the top corner, otherwise a decent copy.
