[HILL, Georgiana].
Everybody's Pudding Book; Or, Puddings, Tarts, Etc., In their Proper Season, For All the Year Round. By The Author of the 'Gourmet's Guide to Rabbit Cooking.'

Description:
pp. xvi, (17)-185, (i). Original green cloth, rear hinge and stitching a bit weak, without a half-title though the title is 'A1' and there is no indication of a leaf having been removed, in all other ways a very good copy.

*The first edition was issued in the same year and the tenth thousand in 1887, despite which it is a very scarce title, COPAC only listing the British Library copies. Her guide to rabbit cooking is scarcely more common - published in 1859 and re-issued in 1866, there are copies in Oxford and Cambridge but not in the British Library. A modern version of the Pudding Book was issued in 2012 as 'A Year of Victorian Puddings'. TOGETHER WITH: VEAL, Irene. Anthology of Puddings. John Gifford. London. 1944 (reprint of 1942). pp. 173, (i). Original cloth, a few corners creased else a good copy.

Richard Bentley. London.

Date Published: 1862. Second edition.
