Contemporary panelled calf, now very dilapidated, the title loose and frayed at the edges though no loss of text, a small and faded damp mark in the lower corner of the first 50 leaves, the last 50 or so leaves more severely affected by damp in the fore-edge margins, especially the final few leaves, no text loss, the boards holding by the cords, with the ownership inscription of ROBERT EATON and JOHN OWENS, 1808, offered as a good working copy.
