Contemporary mottled calf, spine gilt in panels now faded, old paper label in one of the panels, top corner of the rear board worn with slight loss and a small hole in the fore-margin of the front board, a few early ink notes on the rear free-endpaper, the final blank nearly adrift, last two leaves with old and faint damp marking in the lower margin, early signature of JOHN DIKE on the title, a nice, unaltered copy.
