pp. (ii), VII, (i) blank, 438, (ii) blank. 2 plates facsimiles of the Imperial Address of 1898, 12 plates showing the numerous congratulatory publications presented to the Academy. Original green cloth gilt over heavy bevelled boards, small snag at rear edge of the spine, small mark on the rear board and a very much smaller mark on the front board, elaborate floral gilt end-papers, loose printed presentation bifolium presenting the book to the REVEREND CRONIN, CAMBRIDGE, 1903 [ both Cronin, Oxford, and Mrs. Cronin, Cambridge, are listd amongst the foreign representatives at the celebration ], and subsequent ms. inscription presenting it to the Medical Department Library, Cambridge, 1923, faint browning at the page edges, else a very good copy.

*The Preface and Historical Introduction are printed in parallel Cyrillic and French, pp. 135; the Letters of Address and of Felicitation from foreign dignitaries are in appropriate languages, pp.136-189; the remainder of the text is in Cyrillic. COPAC does not record a copy in the UK; WORLD CAT records four copies - Netherlands, France, Switzerland and the USA.
