Directions for Using Read's Patent Self-Injecting Instrument, which is Manufactured and Sold At 35, Regent Circus, Piccadilly.

And also by Appointment in London, by W. H. Pepys, 22, Poultry; John Evans, 10, Old Change; and D. & S. Stodart, 401, Strand.

pp. 8, (ii). 3 wood-engraved text figures. Original printed green paper wrappers, a few tiny nicks at the edges, lacking tip of lower rear corner, trace of a horizontal centre fold, considering its slight and fragile nature, an amazing survival in pretty good condition.

*COPAC locates a related title in the British Library - A Description of Read's patent stomach pump and self-injecting lavement apparatus, etc. [1829]; and another in the NLS, also [1829]. The above, though describing the same apparatus is a slightly later publication and seemingly with a briefer text, since the NLS copy has 24 pages.

Printed by W. Glendinning, Hatton Garden.

Date Published: [c.1830]. 16mo.

Stock No. 61583
