Issued monthly; from September 1928 each issue incorporated a Supplement, PANPIPES, presented as a separate booklet from June 1930 onwards [23 of these are present here]. It was renamed THE MUSIC STUDENT from v.13 onwards. In binder's cloth, bound from the issues, some issues with a central fold from posting, a couple of volumes with a string-dent in the fore-edges of the boards, but overall in very good condition.
*Profusely illustrated and containing much obscure information and many interesting articles, e.g. illustrations of the VIOLINISTA, a mechanical violin invented by Gabriel Bureau and Emile Aubry, and an illustration column of Professor Leo Theremin demonstrating his newly invented apparatus for producing 'music from the ether'.
