pp. (vi), 210. 4 plates before title, 56 plates; (vi), 216. 4 plates before title, 51 plates, a few text figures - all plates chromolithographs with tissue guards. Publisher's half green morocco and cloth sides, top edges gilt, uncut, spines a trifle faded, cloth a trifle spotted, some foxing of the end-papers, tiny marginal tear in title of v.I, two plates in v.II foxed [one of them with only a single spot], remainder clean, some tissues in v.II folded, the stitching in v.II weakening but all joints intact and firm.
