pp. (3), 4-141, (i). Hand-coloured, engraved title - 'Hodgson's Select Warbler Vol [sic]' - with caption below figure - 'Our King is a true British Sailor'. The first leaf of text is A2 and has the drop-head title 'Hodgson's Select Warbler'; it is un-numbered. The Bodleian copy is catalogued without a printed title, with the title and imprint taken from the wrapper. Despite this, the coloured title is described as 'additional'. The Register is in 8s., A8 - H8, I7. In yellow glazed paper wrappers, the rear wrapper with the title 'Little Warbler - English Songs', the spine intact and titled 'English Songs', lacking the front cover. The coloured title is printed on paper larger that the text block and is thus folded along the spine edge; a frontispiece is called for and is lacking, stitching weak at the front with the first gathering holding by the top cord, but rare in any condition.
