In publisher's pictorial cloth, somewhat darkened with age, the front cover of one volume with a damp-marked patch at the front fore-edge and a similar patch at the lower corner of the rear board of one volume, some leaves tending to brown at the edges, end-papers foxed, decent copies on cheap paper.

*COPAC gives five locations, not including the British Library - MANCHESTER, NLW, OXFORD, LSE and the NT. It began publication in 1895, running until 1912, and was subsumed in Woman's Own. Contents include every issue that one might expect to be of interest - cooking, clothes making [a paper pattern was given away with each issue, though they are not included here] and fashion, furnishing the house, society gossip, women on stage, husbands, children, plus advertisements for minor illnesses, diet pills, hair dressings, etc.
