THE NEW AGE. A WEEKLY RECORD OF CHRISTIAN CULTURE, SOCIAL SERVICE, AND LITERARY LIFE.

Description:
pp. 20 [including Supplement of four pages]. Disbound, cheap paper slightly browned, else a very good copy.

*THE OUTLOOK, by CHARLES BERRY. - 'Since it became known that I was to be associated with this new venture in journalism, I have been frequently asked, 'Is there room for a new weekly paper ?' My answer has invariably been that everything depends on the paper........... The return of the journalistic dead season has brought forth the usual crop of newspaper discussions on all sorts of Social and Religious questions. The Daily News is taxing the ingenuity of its correspondents on the question of 'How to Save'; the British Weekly has started the somewhat startling question, 'Should Wives promise to obey their Husbands ?'; the Westminster Gazette is seeking information on the question, 'Does Ritualism appeal to the Working Classes ?'. COPAC lists two locations - the BL and Cambridge. The journal ran until 1938.
