*EDITORIAL - 'There is always room at the top', and Pearson's Weekly will, it is hoped, prove itself to be conducted with such ability as to ensure its position at the very head at the numerous periodicals which aim to supply a want not met by weekly news papers.' It seems to have worked, as the periodical ran until 1938 when it merged with Today (London, England : 1938), to form New Pearson's and Today. COPAC records the BL - NLWales - Oxford - Manchester. OFFERED TOGETHER WITH the first numbers of : PEARSON'S COMPANION, Dec. 1892 & THE WEEK'S NEWS - A PAPER FOR BUSY PEOPLE, Companion to 'Pearson's Weekly.' Both of these edited by C. ARTHUR PEARSON. Both of these are browned and brittle at the fore-edge margins with tears and a bit of loss.
