pp. (iv), viii, (9)-41, (iii). Photographic frontispiece of the author, autotype photograph of symbols [both by AYTON, Londonderry], 4 large folding lithographs. The final leaf reprints a poem by W. ADAM, Londonderry, 1873 - The Moabite Stone - first printed in the Londonderry Sentinel same year. Contemporary red morocco gilt, heavy bevelled boards, all edges gilt, silk liners, occasional foxing, the folding plates with some tears in the folds, without loss, spine ends a little rubbed, otherwise a very nice copy [a pencil note states ex-libris the Marquess of Hamilton].
