pp. [56], [430]; [4], [732]. Unpaginated, double column. Contemporary sprinckled calf, a bit rubbed at edges, a later rebacking in brown morocco with red title labels, book-plates on the front paste-down of v.I and on a preliminary blank in v.II, in excellent condition.

*With both half-titles and the 2 page Subscriber's List [this includes OLIVER GOLDSMITH M.D. and JOSHUA REYNOLDS [who painted Goldsmith's portrait], and WILLIAM HUNTER, M.D. William Caslon cut the special font for the Anglo-Saxon characters.
