pp. 15, (i). 14 chromolithographic plates with 103 figures. Original cloth-backed, printed, boards, a little wear to the spine ends, joints a trifle weak, some foxing to the margins and verso of the plates, signature of EDEN LEWIS on title in pencil, overall a nice copy.

*An early postcard reproducing one of the plates is loosely added. It has a pencil note reading 'Serbian Carpet'. A rare item, only one copy on Worldcat, in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. It describes motifs used in Serbian carpet manufacture.
