pp. XX, 636. 3 engraved plates, each with 6 handcoloured figures of eyes, 1 plain plate of surgical instruments; XVI, LI, (i), 680, (iv) Advertisements. 4 engraved plates with handcoloured figures of eyes [3 with 6 figures each, 1 with 8 figures], large folding plate of surgical instruments. Contemporary half sheepskin and marbled boards, v.I worn at spine ends and edges, v.II some-time rebacked with old spine relaid, corners a bit worn, some foxing in each volume, small brown mark from inserted paper affecting one plate in v.I, small tear at attachment of folding plate in v.II, overall a very good set.
