*A scarce edition of this classic poem, beautifully illustrated by Norah Gray, one of the 'Glasgow Girls'. Born in 1882, she moved to Glasgow in 1901 and studied at the Glasgow School of Art under Newberry and Delville. By 1910, she had her own studio and had held exhibitions of her own work. During the First World War, she worked as a volunteer nurse at the Scottish Women's Hospital at Royaumont Abbey. After the war, she returned to Scotland and continued her artistic career, winning medals in the 1921 and 1923 Paris Salons. She died in 1931, from cancer.
