MARIAN, THE GIANT AMAZON QUEEN, in 'Babil and Bijou', Alhambra Theatre, LONDON STEREOSCOPIC CO. The reverse of the card has a newscutting describing the performance and giving brief biographical details, the card shaved top and bottom. Cdv. 12. CAPTAIN BATES [giant], D. S. L. GERMONS, Temple of Art, 914 Arch Street, Philadelphia. Cdv. 13. GENERAL TOT, 30 inches in height, 17 years of age [ms. title on reverse], VICTORIA STUDIO, London, Bristol and Cardiff. Cdv. 14. GENERAL MITE, Royal American Midgets, 17 years old, weighs nine pounds. 'he is bright, smart and intelligent, and a perfect man in miniature' [titled verso], BROWN, BARNES & BELL, a Woodburytype cdv, slightly trimmed at the lower edge. 15. ANNIE BAINES known as LADY DOT, the Midget Mite , The Smallest lady in the World, 14 Years Old, and 19 Inches High [titled reverse], BROWN, BARNES & BELL, a Woodburytype. Cdv. 16. THOS. In the identical costumes worn before Her Majesty Queen Victoria, at Windsor Castle, June 24, 1865. So lettered on the front below the image; E. & H. T. Cdv. 20. ANITA 'THE LIVING DOLL'. 'Smallest Adult Human Being the World has ever seen/Age 30 Years on Dec. 27th. 1912 - Height 26 inches/Perfect in Figure, Face, Form & Intellect.' A real photographic post-card by USA Studios, unused, signed by Anita at the lower edge. 21. HARVEY'S MIDGES (sic). Jennie Worgen - Princess Lottie - Prince Midge - General Tot. Cabinet Woodburytype by BROWN, BARNES, & BELL. Signed below the image by Jennie Worgen. 22. THE COLIBRIS LILLIPUTIAN MIDGET TROUPE. The group of nine shown with a normal sized attendant. Cabinet Woodburytype, no photographer stated, the verso of the card with news-cuttings describing the troupe's appearance at the People's Palace, Plymouth. 23. THE AUSTRALIAN GIANT FAMILY - Clara, Victorian Giantess - Tom, the Juvenile Hercules - Anna, the Baby Giantess. Children of Mr. Snell. Taken 1/9/88. Plus details of ages and weights, all in ms. on the reverse of the card. A Cabinet Woodburytype by London Stereoscopic Co. [Electric Light Used in Dull Weather]. 24. THE AZTECS [see no.5 above]. So titled in ms. on verso, dated Oct.24.10.93. An albumen print cabinet card, no photographer stated. 25. P[HINEAS] T BARNUM - An albumen print cabinet card by Chas Eisenmann, The Popular Photographer, 229 Bowery, N.Y. Signed in facsimile across the lower edge of the image. 26. KRAO, Farini's 'Missing Link'. 'Krao is a great curiosity, a Siamese girl, 11 years of age, shapely in body and limbs, but with a very large and peculiarly shaped head and face, nearly covered with very thick black hair, etc. etc.' details taken from a news cutting on the verso of the card, describing the attractions of the Winter Gardens, Torquay. An albumen print cabinet card by Bienenfeld és Társa, Budapest. 27. 'A WELL KNOWN RESIDENT OF MABLETHORPE [LINCS], a special favorite with the visitors, age 61 years, weighs 9st.6lbs. stands 4 ft. high.' A half tone image pasted to a glass plate, gilt border, blackened around the image, the title in white along the lower edge, SIZE : c.28 x 12.5 cms. The substance of the image worn and pitted but perfectly viewable, showing the man standing in front of a house with handcart, delivering milk. 28. A photo postcard of these conjoined twins, born 1908, Brighton, died 1960 in North Carolina, USA. 51. 'DOUBLE-HEADS BABY CHINESE GIRL' - a photo postcard of conjoined twins. 52.
