Analysis of the Laws of England.

pp. (xvi), 230, (xv) Index, (i) blank. 2 folding tables. Recent cloth, signature cut from top of title affecting the top of the word 'Analysis', though mostly the final letter 'S', the same has taken place at two other leaves, in one not affecting text, in the other with loss of the words '...of England' from the running headline and a few words in the top two lines verso, this damage now professionally conserved, an old ink-mark in the fore-edge margin of the book-block throughout, only visible in the margins of the first four leaves and occasional leaf thereafter, some foxing, with the early signature of JOSEPH KAYE in one margin and a few ink notes possibly in his hand, offered as a good working copy on account of the defects listed.

*This is the best edition of Blackstone's analytical outline of his major work, 'Commentaries on the Laws of England'. It is scarce.
