pp. 206, 10 Advertisements. Copper engraved frontispiece, with imprint Wm. Darton Jun., Jan.8th. 1819. Original marbled boards with red roan spine, ruled in flat panels, title in gilt - 'Alchemist 2s.6d.', top of the spine worn with a little loss, edges of spine and boards worn, one gathering a little proud, a few corners turned over, bottom edge margin of title torn with a very small loss. A contemporary ms. comment in the lower margin of the final leaf reads - 'An Excelent (sic), Entertaining and useful Volume. Duplex libelli dos est 1825 Jany. 4th. SG'.
