ASHERSON, Otologist, designed by MERVYN PEAKE, a humorous depiction of the ossicles of the inner ear, with a few ephemeral items relating to Asherson including a leaf from Dawson's 1956 catalogue marking the 1543 Vesalius at £750, cloth a trifle marked else a very good copy.

*Reprints 16 essays, plus a short-title Bibliography. "Ex Libris N. Asherson", 1951, the book-plate designed by Mervyn Peake, whose wife and children were treated by Asherson.
