Contemporary half sheepskin over paper boards, the front cover with the number '349 M4' impressed in the centre, signature of ALBRECHT IHRE, dated variously 1808, 1812, 1814, traces of wax seals on both paste-downs, faded marginal damp-mark on the title and a few following leaves, both top and bottom edges of the book-block have the number '69' in ink, scattered foxing, else a clean and tight copy.

*An elementary school-book of unusual scarcity - the only copy traced is held in the Bancroft Library, UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, BERKELEY. There is no copy in any major European library, including those of Sweden and Denmark. Nor is there a copy in any of the major North American libraries.
