FREUD, Sigm.
Ueber den Ursprung des N. acusticus.

Two Parts [nos. 8 & 9] - pp. (245) - 251. 4 figures; (277) - 282. 1 figure. CONTAINED IN: Monatsschrift für Ohrenheilkunde sowie für Kehlkopf-, Nasen-, Rachen-Krankheiten. (Neue Folge). Jahrgang XX, Berlin, 1886. 12 monthly issues bound together - pp. (ii), 415, (i). Text figures.

Contemporary half morocco, rebacked, corners repaired, a couple of the issues have dusty titles, and the occasional issue has a faint vertical crease where once folded, a few lines of the Freud papers lightly underlined in red and blue pencil which will erase without trace though I have preferred to leave them, possibly lacking one leaf before the Index [a sub-title or blank?] without a break in text, overall a very good copy.

*This is the last of Freud's three papers on the acoustic nerve, arising from his work on the medulla oblongata. The text woodcuts are from his own drawings.
