A New Map of the County of Cambridge Divided into Hundreds.

SIZE: 51.6 x 46.3 cms., 12 panels dissected onto linen, handcoloured roads, boundaries and details, some of the panels lifting at the corners, some foxing on the reverse, a couple of small dents at the lower edge but a very good copy overall, folding into a mottled paper slip-case of the period, oval paper label on the front.

*With a List of 15 Hundreds, Greenwich Meridian, Explanatory Key at lower left, compass rose at top left. COPAC records the first edition of 1801 and another of Jan.6th. 1804 [both BODLEIAN] - both of these have a Jones and Smith imprint. By the date of the above, Smith appears to have been working on his own.
