*HUTCHINSON (1828-1913), eponymously best known for 'Hutchinson's triad' - interstitial keratitits - notched incisors - labyrinthine disease - in congenital syphilis. This is the first complete expression of his diagnostic work on congenital syphilis, of which his description of the curiously notched and peg-like incisors was originally published in the Transactions of the Pathological Society of London in 1858 [G-M #2386].
