DEAN & SON, Publishers.
The Paint Box, Painting Book and Palette.

ff. 20. 6 colour-printed illustrations. Coloured paper boards, book block stapled onto the back but staples now rusted and the block loose, occasional foxing, a bit of rubbing, the glazed paper of the boards coming a little loose at the lower edges, overall still a good copy.

*COPAC gives Cambridge only. The front paste-down offers 'Practical Hints as to how to Use the Palette and Colours'. The Palette is here present, a book-shaped card with thumb-hole, glazed to one side for the paints, a few splodges of which are still seen. The Paint Box, a black enamel tinned container with its full complement of 12 blocks of paint, is contained within a cut out at the top of the book block, c.4 x 2.5 inches. Two of the six illustrations have been competently copied. None of the other outline pictures has been painted in.
