pp. (xii), XXVIII, 580, 324, (lix) Index, (i) blank. With half-title, title printed in red and black with engraved vignette of Pegasus. Contemporary panelled calf, with nineteenth century repairs to spine and corners, replacement end-papers and title label, some small areas of scuff and wear on the boards and at edges, some old and faded damp-marking of some lower corners and top gutter, occasional tiny ink spot or rust mark, WITHDRAWN library stamp on the front free end-paper but no other library mark and overall a good copy.
