Later half calf and marbled boards, rebacked, new end-papers, scattered foxing, lower margin of one leaf in v.2 a bit dusty, wanting the half-title to v.1 [the other two present], a very good copy.

*GARRISON-MORTON #6326 - 'Underwood laid the foundations for modern paediatrics.' Also G-M #2734.4 - the second edition of 1789, in 2 volumes, in which congenital heart disease was noted for the first time; G-M #4015 for the first edition of 1784 which described Underwood's Disease, sclerema neonatorum, and thrush [G-M #5516] .
