pp. (vi), iv, 508. 9 engraved plates by LIZARS, one plate of hand-coloured blocks [a colour chart]. Later half calf and marbled boards, scuffed and worn, joints weak but holding, a couple of old repairs to the edge of the title not affecting the text, foxed throughout but most marked at the ends.
